To prospective Ph.D. students

I welcome applications from students with backgrounds in optimization, scientific computation, or operations research. These areas are often rooted in electrical engineering, computer science, and mathematics, but applicants from other relevant disciplines are also welcome.

I hope you are self-motivated and passionate about research, communicate and write clearly, and are willing to tackle challenging problems.

Current availability. Ph.D. positions are not currently available. Interested applicants are encouraged to consider a co-supervised position.

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

A solid foundation in mathematics and strong analytical skills.
Programming experience, for example in Python, MATLAB, or C++.
